Cost and Dates
COURSE COSTS AND DATES
The course commences in January and goes on until December. All major school holiday periods are avoided.
The course is run on a modular basis. This enables past students, practitioners already in practice and practitioners of others disciplines to sample the FMM process.
All workshops take place at the following;
The offices of People Development Works
Unit 9b, Private Road No.2
Colwick Quays Business Park
Colwick
Nottingham NG4 2JY
Tel; 0115-9404966
You can make contact with them at:
venue@peopledevelopmentworks.com
but please address all general enquiries to Andy Thomas at: andy@fullmovementmethod.com
or
andrew.thomasfmm@ntlworld.com
or
Phone 01159141422.
Please do not direct any enquiries about courses to PDW – they are simply supplying the building for us to use!!
This is a new suite of very posh offices so the space is much greater than we had in Bingham and it is much quieter and, for most, it will be easier to drive there. It is directly overlooking the river Trent.
A map of the area can be found on www.streetmap.co.uk but there is also a good series of maps on the PDW web site: www.peopledevelopmentworks.com
Please use only those car parking spaces that are marked with 9a or 9b or as directed by PDW staff. Others belong to other companies on this new office development. There is plenty of parking.

Course Costs.
The workshop cost has remained at the same level since the workshops were instituted nearly ten years ago so an inflationary increase is planned for 2010 which will affect NEW STUDENTS NEXT YEAR ONLY--there will be no change for existing students who can complete the training with no increase in the cost. We consider this to be reaonable and fair. All new students going through the three years will pay the new cost after 2009.The tutors wish to ensure that costs do not rise again for at least the next three years-we hope to be able to achieve this.
The ten workshops will cost £1750 pounds if paid for on registration either by cheque or by BACS or some other acceptable means. Details of how to pay appear below.
Ten workshops will cost £1900 if you pay in four instalments in the following manner. First payment by cheque with your application before the end of November 2009. , for the amount of £800. Then the second payment by BACS or standing order for £400 on 9th March 2010, the third payment of £400 payable on 29th June by BACS or standing order and the final payment of £300 on the 14th September 2010 by the same method.
If you choose to pay at each workshop , the individual cost of each of the ten workshops is £200 making the year total £2000. We offer, as you will see, a substantial discount for full payment early.It should be obvious but in case it is not you will not be able to put your money into any investment and get a better return than the discount offered. We offer this in order to be able more effectively to plan ahead--you may be able to see how difficult it is to plan without knowing if the individual is intending to be at the next session--but of course if this is your choice then the extra cost reflects this.
By paying monthly you are also able to come and go as you please--you may wish just to undertake a selection of the workshops during the year to suit yourself--we are happy for you to do this so please pay as you arrive. This facility is offered to all but it is likely to be most valuable for those who wish to hone their existing fmm skills.
If you have an alternative method of payment please discuss it with us before applying.
The workshop manual can be downloaded or an emailed copy sent to you.It is hoped to have a bound hard copy of the manual by the start of 2010.
Payments should be made as follows;

Establishment of Bursaries.
The course providers are conscious of the substantial commitment that each student will be required to make to enable her to acquire the experience and knowledge necessary to become competent in the use of FMM . We know that anyone changing their occupation is heavily committed financially so we wish to establish that there may be assistance available to meet fees, in cases of genuine hardship. We will wish that this analysis be carried out before the start of training and that it is seen to be completely transparent and is operated with the greatest of integrity on both sides. Please speak to us well before the course begins. Please remember that this is a small company and every time concessions are made someone ends up paying more!!
